Bemidji State on a roll!

Bemidji's Beavers are on a roll in collegiate hockey after pulling off a huge upset of Notre Dame yesterday. Check it out, from the Associated Press:

Bemidji State upsets Notre Dame

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — Tyler Scofield had two goals and an assist, and Matt Dalton made 34 saves to help Bemidji State beat top-seeded Notre Dame 5-1 on Saturday night in the NCAA hockey Midwest Regional.

The fourth-seeded Beavers (19-15-1) will face third-seeded Cornell in the regional final Sunday night. Cornell beat Northeastern 3-2.

Scofield, Chris McKelvie and Ben Kinne scored to give Bemidji State a 3-0 lead after two periods, and the Beavers made it 4-0 on Matt Read's short-handed goal 49 seconds into the third. Dan Kissel scored for Notre Dame (31-6-3), and Scofield completed the scoring with an empty-net goal. Jordan Pearce made 14 saves for the Irish.
